Terms & Conditions

General Terms & Conditions

Please note individual terms and conditions apply to some of our menus, entertainment, and or other options. These are listed within the Terms & Conditions under the individual website listing.

Chef Menus

Booking Information & Chef Consultation
- All menus are priced per person and have a minimum of 6 guests.
- Locations including and further than Ubud, Uluwatu, Pecatu, Bingin, Tanah Lot minimum 15 guest for chef menu and party package bar menu.
- Locations including and further than Ubud, Uluwatu, Pecatu, Bingin, Tanah Lot minimum 20 guest for chef menu only.
​- Menus are priced for buffet / family style service. Additional fee per pax will apply for individual plating service.
- We require a minimum of 5 to 7 days scheduling and planning time prior to your requested booking date.
​​- 1 to 2 days prior to your event our chef will where possible visit you at the location to confirm requirements and check facilities.
​- At the time of booking we will require a deposit of 50% to be paid. Remaining balance is then due in cash on date of consultation.

Prices Inclusions
- Bali Chef Hire staff cost. Depending on guest numbers we will supply 1 to multiple chef's and or assistant cooks. 
​- Basic set up and decoration of the area where food will be set out / served including standard trays, dishes, serving pots etc for the food.
- Should you require additional or specialized setups, tables, decoration, serving equipment, dinnerware, cutlery or other please advise.

- Setup and cooking time requires 3 hours for most packages. Please ensure the event location is available for this time.
- Average time for buffet service is 2 hours for most events. Please notify us where you require additional time, fees may apply.
- Equipment required to prepare and cook the meal. We must have a sufficient area to setup our equipment.
​- Ingredients to cover standard menu options. Menu changes, and or dietary requirements may require additional fees. 
- Pack up and clean-up will be done after the meal is prepared and served. Note standard service times.

Supply of Bar Equipment, Catering Equipment & Other Accessories
- Where additional catering equipment, decorations, accessories, dinnerware, cutlery, staff or other items are requested or required additional fees will apply. Please notify us at the time of booking and our chef and representative shall discuss this with you at the consultation.  
- Transport return fee based on your location. Large equipment may require additional fee. Prices subject to change without notice.
Kuta, Legian, Seminyak - 250K / Tuban, Petitenget, Umalas 300K / Canggu, Jimbaran 350K / Sanur, Nusa Dua 450K / Uluwatu, Bingin, Tanah Lot 600K / Ubud 700K. Due to distance, travel time, extra costs we can only accept large events in Ubud, Uluwatu, Bingin, Tanah Lot locations. This is minimum 15 guests for chef and party package bar menu. A 20 Guest minimum applies for chef menu only.   
- Any and all breakages for dinnerware / glassware and or other equipment by guests will be charged to the guest making the booking.

Allowances / Facilities
- For any shift over 4 hours our Bali Chefs and Bali Catering Staff must be given a break of half hour duration to pick up food and beverages or where unable to leave the premises have food and beverage provided for them.
- Suitable facilities must be provided for all Bali Chef & Catering Staff. This includes access to a preparation area, use of a stove or oven based on menu requirements, use of a fridge & freezer, use of a sink.

Availability / Disclaimer
- Due to seasonal availability we may be required to substitute ingredients or additional charges my apply. Our chef will advise of this during the consultation. Please note peak season such as New Years, Christmas, or High Season may attract additional fees due to limited staff availability. - Currently our service area includes Canggu, Kerobokan, Petitenget, Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, Tuban, Denpasar Barat, Denpasar Seletan we can service other areas however fees may apply based on the location. Minimum order levels also apply to distant locations.

Bar Menus

Booking Information & Bartender Consultation
- All packages are set for a minimum of 20 guest with a "Chef Menu" and 30 guests drinks only. 10%  - 20% fee added if under minimum guest.
- The only package as an exceptions are Party Packages with a minimum of 6 guests.
- Children are not included in the total guest to reach minimum guest numbers.

​- Menus are priced to include Mixologist, Bartender, or Bar Back, based upon guest numbers we will allocate staff. 
- We require a minimum of 5 to 7 days scheduling and planning time prior to your requested booking date.
​- Where possible, prior to your event our staff will visit you at the location to confirm requirements and check facilities.
​- At the time of booking we will require a deposit of 50% to be paid. Remaining balance is then due in cash on date of consultation.

Prices Inclusions
- Based on guest numbers we will supply 1 to multiple Mixologists, Bartenders and Bar Backs. Free flow only includes servers. 
​- Party Packages include staff, glassware, bar kit, mixers, condiments, music system, coconuts 10+ guest, and over 20 pax a small bar.
- Free Flow Packages include as required alcohol, bar staff, bar equipment, glassware, mixers, condiments, ice, coolers, small, medium or large bar based on guest numbers.
- Decorations, additional tables, bar tables and chairs, and other equipment can be added for a fee. Please discuss your requirements.

- We can not serve shots and for any outside alcohol please clear this with the team before your event.

Supply of Bar Equipment, Catering Equipment & Other Accessories
- Where additional bar equipment, catering equipment, table dressings, decorations, accessories, or staff are requested or required additional fees will apply. Please notify us at the time of booking and our chef and representative shall discuss this with you at the consultation. 
- Transport return fee based on your location. Large equipment may require additional fee. Prices subject to change without notice.

- Free flow packages remaining beverages at the end of the event are the property of Bali Chef & Bartender. 

Allowances / Facilities
For any shift over 4 hours our Bali Bartenders and Bali Catering Staff must be given a break of half hour duration to pick up food and beverages or where unable to leave the premises have food and beverage provided for them.
Suitable facilities must be provided for all Bali Bartender & Catering Staff. This includes access to a preparation area, access to electrical outlet, use of a fridge & freezer, use of a sink. We can provide all of these for larger events except the electric and water.

Please note peak season such as New Years, Christmas, or High Season may attract additional fees due to limited staff availability. Currently our service area includes Canggu, Petitenget, Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, Tuban, we can service other areas however fees apply based on the location.

Service of Alcohol Law
Bali Bar Tenders and Bali Bar Staff have the right to refuse alcohol if in belief that a person is highly intoxicated.
Bali Bar Tenders and Bali Bar Staff have the right to refuse service to persons under 18 years of age.

Platters

Booking Information & Chef Consultation
- Platters are priced per platter and are drop off service only.
- Platters require a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to your requested booking date to organise.
- Please note we have a minimum order of 2 platters and only available when booking with a Chef Menu or Bar Menu. 

- Grazing tables require a minimum of 10 guests per order and are set up on site. Under 20 pax only available with Chef Menu or Bar Menu.
- Grazing Tables require a minimum of 48 - 72 hours notice prior to your requested booking date to organise. 

- Please ensure you have a suitable area to set up Grazing Tables. Be aware heat may be an issue for some food.
​- At the time of booking we will require a deposit of 50% to be paid. Remaining balance is then due in cash on date of delivery.

Prices Inclusions
​- Platters include free transport for orders over 2.000K IDR Kuta, Legian, Seminyak area. Note our complete service area below.
- Platters are a drop off service only. 
Platters may have an additional delivery fee based on location.
- Grazing Tables are 
set up and prepared on site for you. Grazing Tables additional delivery fee based on location.
​- All ingredients as listed in the information are provided. Please notify us of any allergies.
- Grazing tables require additional display equipment included. Display equipment must be returned to Bali Chef Hire. 
- You may opt to have special setup of Grazing tables for weddings etc. Where this is done prices are quoted for the extra display items.

For any shift over 4 hours our Bali Chefs and Bali Catering Staff must be given a break of half hour duration to pick up food and beverages or where unable to leave the premises have food and beverage provided for them.
Suitable facilities must be provided for all Bali Chef & Catering Staff. This includes access to a preparation area, use of a stove or oven based on menu requirements, use of a fridge & freezer, use of a sink.

Availability / Disclaimer
Due to seasonal availability we may be required to substitute ingredients or additional charges my apply. Our chef / staff will advise of this during the consultation. Please note peak season such as New Years, Christmas, or High Season may attract additional fees due to limited staff availability. Currently our platter service area is limited in order to maintain freshness of the platters. We deliver to Canggu, Kerobokan, Petitenget, Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, Tuban. Other areas only available with a Chef Menu or Bar Menu.

Entertainment

Information & Event Consultation
- Booking Requirements will vary in the performance for their transport costs due to equipment and other features of an event. 
- We require a minimum of 3 to 7 days scheduling and planning time prior to your requested booking date.

​​- 1 to 2 days prior to your event our staff will where possible visit you at the location to confirm requirements and check facilities.
​- At the time of booking we will require a deposit of 50% to be paid. Remaining balance is then due in cash on date of consultation.

Prices Inclusions
- Each event, performer, artist has different inclusions. Please consult during the booking for the total inclusions and extras.

Supply of Equipment & Other Accessories
- Each event, performance, artist, has different inclusions. Where changes, additional staff or items are requested or required additional fees will apply. Please notify us at the time of booking.
- Please ensure you have an adequate power supply for the event. Where this is not available please let us know and we must add in a genset.
- Transport return fee based on your location. Some events will not have fees and some will so the following is a general guideline only and you will be advised on these charges. Large equipment may require additional fee. Prices subject to change without notice.

Availability / Disclaimer
We will not be held liable for any seasonal constrictions or events that disrupt your event and make the event unable to be run. It is the responsibility of the guest booking to ensure a suitable area for the performance, artist, event, or other to occur. Due to seasonal restrictions and unpredictability we must ensure you plan your event with Bali weather, geological, and all other pertaining factors in mind.

Massage

Booking Information
- ​Our Bali massage, salon and spa team is available to start work from as early as 8 am each day and finish as late as 8 pm.
- Please ensure you have observed our information in regards to a minimum of 2 guests per booking.
- Please book 24 to 48 hours prior to your requested booking date. Last minute bookings are accepted but not guaranteed.

​- At the time of booking or on arrival in Bali we require a deposit of 50%. Remaining balance is then due in cash on date of service.

Prices Inclusions
- Staff Hire cost includes only the staff for the time you have booked them. If you are running late an additional fee is payable or the service will be for a shorter period of time.
- All oils, and requirements for the massage and or treatment are provided. We bring sarongs and towels to lay out over the area you will be receiving the massage in order to protect the area. Please note we do not bring portable massage beds.
- A bed, sun-lounge or mattress is the ideal place for a massage. Keep in mind a soft springy mattress will mean a softer massage.
- Currently our service area includes Canggu, Petitenget, Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, Tuban, we can service other areas however fees apply based on the location.

Allowances / Facilities
- For any shift over 4 hours our staff must be given a break of half hour duration to pick up food and beverages or where unable to leave the premises have food and beverage provided for them.

Babysitting

Booking Information
- If booking multiple days we offer discount options, please inquire for these.
- ​All Bali Babysitters may start work from as early as 7am each day & finish up to as late as 1am. Live in / 24 hrs by special arrangement only.
- Please ensure you have observed our information in regards to babysitter to children ratios and discuss prior if you have older children.
- A baby under 1.5 years requires full attention and we will only take a baby and child over 3 years as 2 children.
- Over 1.5 years we can provide care for 2 children with 1 baby sitter. This is as the baby requires full attention.
- We require a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to your requested booking date to organise any of our services. 

​- At the time of booking or on arrival in Bali we require a deposit of 50%. Remaining balance is then due in cash on date of sitting.
- All babysitters have a minimum booking of 3 hours per day and a call out fee of 50.000 IDR applies to cover transportation costs in standard areas. Seminyak, Legian, Kuta.
- Transport to other areas will have a surcharge to cover the commute for the sitter fuel / time / transport cost.

Prices Inclusions
- Staff Hire cost includes only the staff for the time you have booked them. If you are running late an additional fee is payable.
- Please note some of the activities we have listed will incur an additional fee to purchase materials. Please advise us in your email of any specific activities you may wish your children to do and we can advise on the fee.
- Babysitters will generally arrive only 5 - 10 minutes prior to sitting time to check any requirements. If you wish to spend time with the sitter prior to departing please book this additional time.
- 
Currently our service area includes Canggu, Petitenget, Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, Tuban, we can service other areas however fees apply based on the location as mentioned to cover the commute of the sitter.

Allowances / Facilities
- For any shift over 4 hours our Bali Babysitting Staff must be given a break of half hour duration to pick up food and beverages or where unable to leave the premises have food and beverage provided for them by the client.
- Suitable accommodation and facilities must be provided for a Bali Babysitter particularly when hiring a Bali Babysitter for 24 hours. A room shared with children is suitable but not with entire families or adults.

Payment

  • 50% down payment of estimated cost is required to secure bookings in accordance with confirmation and contract agreement  / invoice agreed upon by both parties.
  • The balance of 50% of estimated total cost must be paid up at least 14 (fourteen) days prior to event date.
  • The number of guests must be communicated 21 (twenty-one) days prior to event date and confirmed at least 14 (fourteen) days prior to event date.
  • The final invoice will be based on this figure even in the event of a last-minute cancellation.
  • For any events booked less than 14 days prior to the event date, the total amount is required to be paid at the time of the booking confirmation presented.
  • Kindly remit your payment in full amount as shown on the invoice.
  • Bali Chef Hire can only received payment via WISE recommended for fast processing, bank transfer or cash. 
  • Exceptions may be permitted only when given in writing by our management team. This will be conveyed via email.

Cancellation

  • If we do not receive the deposit by the due date, it is understood that you have sourced alternative arrangements and your booking will be automatically released without further notification from us.
  • Because the effort of Bali Chef Hire staff and resources that have been set aside for you to provide service, we will not overbook our service and have likely turn away other events for your date. For this reason, the  50% date reservation fee held for the event that would not be returned to you in case of cancellation.

Children

  • Children under the age of 4 will not be charges for food and beverage.
  • Children from 5 to 12 years old will be charge at 50% of the adult price for buffet package, and 50% of the non-alcoholic beverage package.
  • A full amount will be charge for children above the age of 13. 

Dietary Requirements / Menu Changes

  • Bali Chef Hire will endeavour to provide suitable adaptions to the Clients menu for any guests with special dietary requirements or allergies.
  • We cannot however take responsibility for any guests unless advised in advance (no less than 14 working days prior to the event). 
  • Menu changes and or dietary requirements may incur additional charges

Damage & Liability

  • The client agrees to pay for any loss or damage to any equipment, crockery, cutlery, or glassware or other items supplied by Bali Chef Hire for the event, including any issues caused by the client guests.
  • Any damaged linens because of the use of felt tip pens, candle, and red wine will result in any additional charge payable by the client after the event. an amount of IDR 500.000 net per table cloth will be charge.
  • Bali Chef Hire will not be held responsible for the theft, loss or damage to any personal effects of the client of gifts brought onto premises by client’s guest.
  • Bali Chef Hire accept no liability under any claim whatsoever arising (be it by negligence or otherwise) for any loss. We are not responsible for any loss of guests belonging before, during, and after the event. Any items found by our staff at the venue during/after the event will be handed over to the organizer or security. 

Force Majeure

  • Bali Chef Hire shall incur no liability to the Client if performance of the contract is prevented or hindered by any case whatsoever beyond Bali Chef Hires control and in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by act of fire, flood, subsidence, sabotage, accident, strike, weather, geological, or lock out and shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting there from suffered by the Client
