We have 3 options to select from based upon the number of guests at your event and the requirements you need:
The first packages we offer are our Party Packages:
Cocktail Party Package and Beer & Spirits Party Package.
These are great from small groups 6 - 30 guests, priced per person and include 3 hours service as standard with the option to add additional hours.
We supply everything you require for your event except the alcohol. You choose to purchase from our Alcohol Store. Alternatively many of our guests select to provide their own alcohol utilising their duty free alcohol purchases.
The second and the most popular choice for large groups is our Free Flow Bar Packages:
These packages are great for larger groups and only available for 30+ people. We do make an exception if booking a "Chef Menu" we can provide these packages for a minimum of 20 guests. There are several options in our free flow packages where you can select the hours the package will go for and also each package has different inclusions. Example: Beer & Wine / Beer, Wine & Spirits / Beer, Wine, Spirits, Cocktails.
Simply select the package you like and our staff prepare everything so you just need to relax and enjoy your party.
Our third option is for individual staff hire, which you will find below:
This option is only for our guests who require additional staff at their events. It is not designed for an individual event as you are hiring the staff by them self only.
This is not available for staff only to work as a stand alone bartender without our bar menus. A reflection of a bad event is bad preparation and we love a good event prepared for you. Our knowledge and many years of events allows us to make the event great for our guests so we prepare your packages complete for you only.
All pricing is per hour, with minimum 3 hours per staff and only with existing packages. This is when you want your guests to have extra special service to impress for a very high level executive service.

Master Mixologist
$30 AUD Per Hour
3 Hours Minimum When only the best is required. A Master Cocktail Mixologist is for selected events when you want fine mixology service with handcrafted cocktails made on the fly and a service level that exceeds your expectations. Our Master Mixologists are also Wedding Bar Supervisors |
Head Bartender
Snr. Mixologist $25 AUD Per Hour
3 Hours Minimum Senior Mixologists are highly skilled cocktail makers and have been with Bali Bartender for an extensive period of time. They are senior in that they can manage a bar effectively, mix, muddle and shake up great cocktails and also ensure your bar is well serviced. |
Bartender
Jnr. Mixologist $20 AUD Per Hour
3 Hours Minimum A Junior Mixologist will work alongside senior or master to make a selection of cocktails for your event. They are skilled bartenders providing quick and friendly service to your guests, serving them essential bar drinks. But not yet able to operate as a full mixologist. |
Bar back
Service / Busser $10 AUD Per Hour
3 Hours Minimum Bar back or Junior Service Staff / busser. These staff work as runners and general hands. Clearing tables, setting up, packing up, cleaning plates and glasses, ensuring ice and other basics are topped up. They are essential to all basic running of an event big or small. |
Senior Waitstaff
$15 AUD Per Hour
3 Hours Minimum Senior Waitstaff are experienced in restaurants, food and beverage service. They will serve the food and drinks direct to guest working the floor or tables as required. These staff will directly interact with your guest and provide feedback to the head service staff. |
Head Service Staff / Maître d / Host
$25 AUD Per Hour
3 Hours Minimum Head Service Staff often referred to as a Maitre D are the essential managers of food and beverage at a big event. They work between chefs, cooks, bar staff, decorators, and many other event areas to ensure everything runs to plan and if problems arise are quickly solved. |

The level of service you require at an event depends greatly on how many guests are attending your event, to that of how many bar staff you have hired. After many years working in the catering industry we know most guest will forget many things which is why staff hire is usually only available for our corporate partners.
Co-ordination of the team, all of the small little extras required, simply knowing what to purchase, what is required, and where to purchase it from, and generally how to make the day run smoothly can be the make or break of your stress levels also your budget and event.
As a general rule for full cocktail or cocktail, spirits, wine, & beer bar service, we advise on the following as a staff hire to guest ratio. We have not included wait staff as this depends how you would like to structure your event and if you will also have food service. Please note there are many other influencing factors:
As you can see there are many things to consider when planning staffing for an event, and this is just touching the surface. We can assist with this the more we know about your event the better we can provide for you.
Note many guest consider drinks only, 1 or more bar-backs / waiters are fundamental as they keep the bar running; topping up fridges, getting ice, collecting used glasses, washing up etc. If you would like guest served formally then add an additional waiter. Remember combine waiters with food service.:
Should you have hired less bar staff based on your final confirmed guest attendance, please note that bar service may not be as quick or efficient as you anticipate. Whilst our staff are effectively trained in bar service and work efficiently, hiring one bar person to accommodate 30 or more guests will affect the efficiency of service. We will not conform your order as we know it will not be a good occasion.
Each of the staff will perform to ensure your event runs well. The roll of a bar back ensuring glasses are washed, a runner if ever in need to get something, and maintain the area throughout the event is important as is each staff. We also offer services for glassware, bars, furniture, decoration, and catering which can be added on to your booking.

- Will you have bar service only or tray service? Tray service will require additional wait staff to serve your drinks, do you have trays or even a bar equipped with requirements. Food Trays and Drinks trays must be kept separate.
- Will you also have food service and what kind? Wait staff and bus-person from food service can also assist with beverage service and save doubling up. But if from different companies and not lead by a head service staff things can quickly become a nightmare.
- What will you serve to your guests? Different drinks are more time consuming than others so make sure your guest don't have to wait. Also prices can be dramatically different based on your supplier and availability.
- How many kinds of cocktails and drinks will you serve and what will you serve? The more cocktails the more work for the bar staff, the more condiments, the more alcohol varieties, the more glassware, the more......
- What is your event style and therefore your service standard requirement? A classic wedding will require more staff to guest ratio than a casual birthday.
- Will you have VIP guest at your event? Generally we need to impress a VIP's so require high levels of dedicated service staff.
As you can see there are many things to consider when planning staffing for an event, and this is just touching the surface. We can assist with this the more we know about your event the better we can provide for you.

- For events of 50-75: 2 x Master Mixologist / 1 x Junior Mixologist / 2 x bar back / 3 x waiter
- For events of 75-100: 2 x Master Mixologist / 2 x Senior Mixologist / 2 x Bar Back / 4 x waiter
- For events over 100: Add 1 staff of each per 25 pax = 1 Bar staff / 1 bar back / 1 waiter

Booking Information & Bartender Consultation
- Please ensure you have observed our information in regards to planning your event and staff to guest ratios.
- A bar back is required for all events regardless of numbers to assist bartender particularly in setup and pack up. No exemptions.
- Waiters are optional for events. If you require drinks served to guests not collected at the bar you should have a waiter.
- We require a minimum of 5 to 7 days scheduling and planning time prior to your requested booking date.
- Where possible, prior to your event our staff will visit you at the location to confirm requirements and check facilities.
- At the time of booking we will require a deposit of 50% to be paid. Remaining balance is then due in cash on date of consultation.
Prices Inclusions
- Staff Hire cost includes only the staff for the time you have booked them. Please ensure you include set up, preparation, and pack-up time within your booking when hiring on an hourly rate. If not this will be charged as an additional fee.
- Staff will arrive 10 - 15 minutes prior to the designated start time.
- Bartenders will each have 1 set of bar equipment: Apron, Bar Towels, Pour Spouts, Juice Containers, Bar Mix Pourers, Cocktail Shaker, Cocktail Strainer, Corkscrew, Bottle Opener, Jigger, Lemon Peeler, Bar Spoon & Fork, Muddler / Masher, Ice Bucket, Ice Scoop, Cutting Board, Knife.
- Glassware, tables, bars etc are not included with individual staff hire options and must be added as an additional extra if required.
Supply of Bar Equipment, Catering Equipment & Other Accessories
Where additional catering equipment, furniture, decorations, accessories, etc are requested or required additional fees will apply. Please notify us at the time of booking and our Bartender and representative shall discuss this with you at the consultation.
Call Out Fee - a 50,000 - 100,000 IDR fee, based on your location, applies to all staff call outs regardless of duration.
Any and all breakages for dinnerware and or other equipment by guests will be charged to the client making the booking.
Allowances / Facilities
For any shift over 4 hours our Bali Bartenders and Bali Catering Staff must be given a break of half hour duration to pick up food and beverages or where unable to leave the premises have food and beverage provided for them.
Suitable facilities must be provided for all Bali Bartender & Catering Staff. This includes access to a preparation area, use of a fridge & freezer, use of a sink, or other based on menu requirements.
Availability / Disclaimer
Due to seasonal availability we may be required to substitute ingredients or additional charges my apply. Our chef will advise of this during the consultation. Please note peak season such as New Years, Christmas, or High Season may attract additional fees due to limited staff availability. Currently our service area includes Canggu, Petitenget, Seminyak, Legian, Kuta, Tuban, we can service other areas however fees apply based on the location.

We make Booking your Bali Event as easy as possible.
Simply fill out the form and make sure you provide a Email and if possible a Whats App number. We will then contact you as soon as possible. Most events require a minimum of 2 - 3 days notification for small events and more for large events. We will then communicate one of 3 ways: 1.) Send us an email inquiry and we will get back to you as soon as possible with all the information needed to start planning your event. 2.) If you are staying in Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Pettitenget, Umalas our staff can come direct to you to discuss the event. 3.) If you are able to come to our Seminyak office we can advise on all of our catering range.
