With beautiful traditional costumes and the flowing movements of Balinese dance your guest will be captured by this performance. Our Balinese dance troops come in various sizes and perform different dances each with their own stories based upon ancient Balinese culture.
Please note Balinese dance is always performed in a group during our events. Each dance has a minimum number of dancers required due to the story and spiritual significance of the dance however you can always request to add additional dancers which we do recommend for large areas or stage performances. We also have chefs, bartenders, cakes and entertainment staff available should you wish to make your event extra special. Please add these requests on the booking form below. |

Minimum 2 dancers / 2 shows per performance with a Chef & or Bar Menu. We do not hire dancers only unless for large bookings.

Pendet Dance - 3 or 6 Dancers Option - 9 minutes
Pendet dance is a traditional dance from Bali, Indonesia, known sometimes as a welcome dance in which floral offerings are made to purify the temple or as a prelude to ceremonies and other dances. Typically performed by young girls, carrying bowls of flower petals, handfuls of which are cast into the air.

Cendrawasih Dance - 3 Dancers - 7 minutes
The cendrawasih dance is a Balinese dance which is performed by two female dancers and often a male dancer interchangeable illustrates the mating rituals of the bird of paradise (Manuk Dewata). A signifying dance of nature, of which within tri hirta karana is a fundamental 3 beliefs within the Balinese Hindu religion.

Legong Keraton Dance - 3 Dancers - 15 minutes
A dance than often represents the grace and femininity among the Balinese dancers who perform this dance. With complex hand movements and poses this is one of the most complex and revered of Balinese dances. Based on the ancient story of a king who envisioned the dance in a dream. The translation is to a royal palace dance.

Puspanjali Dance - 3 or 6 Dancers Option - 6 minutes
A dance signifying a welcoming with salutations and reverence to the guest and a sign of politeness and respect. Soft yet swift movements portrayed by the dancers with a smile of grace to the guest. Traditionally believed to only be performed by special dancers due to the magical power the dance can provide.

Tari Oleg Tamulilingan Dance - 2 Dancers - 15 minutes
Originating from Tabanan this dance is sometimes called the bumblebee dance as it shares with us the significance of beetles and bees in a dance of fun which leads to the pollination of the plants surrounding us. Shining significance on the nature aspect of tri hirta karna the movements of the dance mimic natures design.

Belibis Dance - 3 Dancers - 8 minutes
A more modern dance of which contrasts in comparison to other Balinese dances. Showing the grace of birds before being interrupted by the incarnation of king who has been exposed to a curse from his wife. Not allowed to join the flock of birds being trapped between humanity and bird lifeforms his inequilaterally state of being.

Joged Bumbung Dance (Sexy) - 2 Dancers - 8 minutes
Another more modern dance from 1940's where the joged dancer (female) will invite a male from the audience to dance with her. She will place a scarf or sarong around the man and the dance can become a play of somewhat suggestive movements within the dance. This is a little naughty but certainly not a physical touching dance.

Balinese Dance Premium
The dances we have under this option are some of the more difficult Balinese dances to perform, which are longer than many other dances and the energy required to perform these dances means they are only performed by experienced Balinese dancers. These dances we also have multiple dancer options available. Additionally quality of the costumes, hair styling, makeup, to make the performance of a high quality.
Sekar Jepun Dance - 3 to 5 Dancers Option - 15 minutes
A dance telling the connection of the Balinese people to the Jepun flower (frangipani) which grows abundantly in within Bali. The flower that is used predominantly in our Balinese ceremonies and has become a representation of the Balinese culture from the beauty of this flower that connects to tri hita karana (connection to life) .

Kembang Girang Dance - 3 to 10 Dancers Option - 15 minutes
This dance performed by women translates to flower of happiness combining this within Balinese dance form of beauty swift gracefulness yet energetic within the movements. Modern and traditional elements blend within the dance to show a woman's happiness and the embracement of the beauty and happiness of life.

Tenun Dance - 3 to 10 Dancers Option - 15 minutes
The dance of the weaver, this dance depicts women of Bali who have woven beautiful tradition garments for hundreds of years for life and ceremony. Also through invasion and hardship. The dance is within kneeling graceful, and elegant standing movements. The dance uses a headcloth shawl different to other dances.

Kidang Kencana - 3 to 10 Dancers Option - 15 minutes
Depicting a story using the native Balinese Deer (kidang) which now can be found on Menjangan Island Bali. The story tells of a happy community turned to riot by one bad action, how this lead to a misunderstanding in the community, and was able to be reconciled, to make the community come back together as one. A metaphor.

Balinese Special Performances
The Balinese special performances are 45 minute performances somewhat akin to a stage show. Here we will take you through a story of Bali related to the traditional stories of Bali. We will provide for your guests information about the story we will perform for you so as to allow you to come on a cultural journey understanding the dance performance and its significance to the Balinese people.
Barong Dance with Gamelan Music - 17 Dancers - 45 minutes
This dance tells the story of the never-ending battle between Barong king of the spirits the lion shaped creature representing good and Rangda who represents evil. Rangda practices evil witchcraft, eats children and is represented as a woman with wild hair, fangs, protruding tongue and a frightful look will be defeated by good.

Kecak Ramayana (Fire Dance) - 30 Dancers - 45 minutes
Based on the Sanghyang dance which can only be performed in the temple closed to tourists where spirits can overtake the body. The Kecak blends the story of Ramayana with rhythmic chanting and fire. A tale of love, deception, lust, greed, seduction and ultimately the triumph between good over evil play out.

Balinese music is from Gamelan, we have options of Rindik which is woodwind and Gender which is Brass. These 2 are for standalone music. We also have our complete Gamelan which is the best options for those looking to combine real Balinese Music with our dance performances. Note that the Barong performance already includes the gamelan.

The Balinese Gamelan 10 piece comprises of a complete ensemble of Balinese musical equipment xylophones, drums, woodwind, and much more. This is the perfect accompaniment to an event and the music that will match with the Balinese Dancers. So if you wish Balinese Dancers with Balinese music select this.

Balinese Music Gamelan - Rindik - 3 Musician - 2 Hours
A traditional Balinese sound coming from the 11 to 13 keyed xylophone constructed from bamboo. With the 2 xylophones set one as a high pitch ant the other lower the sound is entrancing reminiscent of the breeze over the rice fields which is where the creation of the music originated from rice farmers in Bali. Often heard in hotels.

Balinese Music Gamelan - Gender - 2 Musician - 2 Hours
One of the ainchent ensemble of Bali using a wooden frame and bronze keys suspended by string. The soothing harmony of the notes are commonly heard in spas within Bali reflecting on the mediative position. Often used within Balinese ceremonies the higher and lower pitched pieces showcase true Bali energy.

- Please ensure you have a suitable area to set up for the staff. This is ideally a 4 x 4 meter (3 x 3 m minimum) area.
- We ideally require a minimum of 5 to 7 days scheduling and planning time prior to your requested booking date.
- Bookings only confirmed with 50% deposit. Balance due at site consult or prior. Payment in full on the day is not accepted.
- Where possible 2 days prior to the event our staff will have a site consult at the location to confirm requirements and check facilities.
- Minimum booking is for 2 dance performances and must be with a chef and or bar menu. We can not accept small bookings individually.
- As standard Balinese dance only is not available so a large number of dances and or multiple entertainment is required to book.
- We can not provide for dancers only in locations including and further than Ubud, Gianyar, Uluwatu, Bingin, Tanah Lot locations. These bookings must include a chef menu and or bar menu with our minimum booking requirements as listed under these packages.

- Transportation fee based on location and services added. May be more or less than listed, please provide your location on the enquiry form.

- Where additional equipment / services are requested or required additional fees will apply. Please notify us at the time of booking and our event staff shall discuss this with you at the consultation. May include additional: staff, equipment, specialty items, or more.
- Transport fee based on location. Additional equipment / non central / hard access / cliff may require additional fee. Kuta, Legian, Seminyak - 250K / Tuban, Petitenget, Umalas 300K / Canggu, Jimbaran 350K - 400K / Sanur, Nusa Dua 450K / Uluwatu, Bingin, Tanah Lot, Ubud 700K.
- Any and all breakages for dinnerware / glassware and or other equipment by guests will be charged to the guest making the booking.
